Overview/Supplementary
This test detects 22 gastrointestinal pathogens directly from stool specimens using a FilmArray Gastrointestinal (GI) panel. Epidemiology will request specimens from submitters as needed for their investigations.

5-7 days
Specimen Requirements
Specimens: Stool in Cary Blair transport media.
Samples must be tested within 4 days post-collection.

Transport/Stability
Store and ship at ambient (8°C to 25°C) or refrigeration (2°C to 8°C) temperature within 24 hours of collection.
