This test detects Blastomyces dermatitidis, Blastomyces gilchristii, and Histoplasma capsulatum. MDH will determine if additional tests are required, including fungal identification.

Specimen Requirements
Isolates: Actively growing culture on media that support the growth of the fungal isolate submitted.
Use slant with screw cap or ensure plates are sealed.
